Reuven Phillips

Reuven Phillips is an entrepreneurial trailblazer in the Israeli finance and real estate worlds.

His first startup, RP Global Financial Services, introduced the groundbreaking concept of digital check scanning and processing to the Israeli financial scene. For several years, RP Global generated the largest daily dollar amount of wire transfers to Bank Leumi from America, helping Americans transfer money to Israel safely and efficiently.

As Reuven found himself increasingly involved in real estate financing - including the buildout of the Park Center Mall in Ramat Bet Shemesh, floor-wide projects in Ramat Gan’s Migdalei Beser, and countless villas and boutique properties nationwide - he founded his second company, Mortgage Capital. Leveraging his extensive network of high-level connections in Israel’s banking and financial industry, Reuven was routinely able to close enormously advantageous financing deals for his clients.

Over the past three years, Reuven’s clients began to turn to him for a more comprehensive package of services. His unique combination of consummate experience in both the Israeli banking world and real estate market, already resulting in more than 500 successful real estate and mortgage deals throughout his career, positioned him a natural address for these more complex services. Always an entrepreneur, he responded to these client requests by pushing Mortgage Capital to evolve. Today, MC Israel Properties offers an entire suite of buyer’s agent, mortgage, finance and real estate investment services.

Originally from Los Angeles, Reuven spent a year in Israel while earning his undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley. He found himself intuitively at home in Jerusalem, and upon his return to California, began preparing for post-graduation Aliyah. Never looking back, Reuven has lived in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Ramat Eshkol for the past 25 years. His four children are native Sabras. In his free time, Reuven can be found mountain biking in the Jerusalem hills.
